Killilea served two terms in Europe.
Having served as a TD since 1981, Gallagher was first elected to The European Parliament in this 1994 election. He was reelected in 1999 , didn’t stand in 2004 and was elected again in 2009.
From the 2004 European Elections a leaflet for Independent candidate, the Wexford-based actor Joe Neal. Joe Neal was ‘formerly an active member of the Green Party’. He polled 1,487 votes.
From 2002 The Socialist Party Manifesto from candidate Mick Murphy running in Dublin South West. Despite high hopes (having polled over 2000 votes in 1997) Murphy polled 954 votes.
From the 2007 General Election A leaflet promoting Laois Offaly Fianna Fail candidates Brian Cowen, Sean Fleming, John Foley and John Moloney. All but John Foley were elected.

There is a confidence in the message from Gerry Adams that Sinn Fein were about to make a massive breakthrough. They won 5 seats in 2002, a gain of 4.

In Light of the Civil Partnership Bill pssing in the Dail, a leaflet from Paul O’Loughlin of The Christian Solidarity Party who were opposed to the Bill. Indeed Paul O’Loughlin could be seen protesting outside the Dail on the issue.
We learn that Paul was a director of the Campaign against Stringfellows Strip Club
From the November 1982 General Election a leaflet ‘Settle Things -Vote Fine Gael’. In the political turmoil of the previous years Fine Gael were pointing out Fianna Fails lies and offering Stability in Government.
