From the 1986 Fine Gael Ard Fheis a leaflet advertising a meeting on ‘Basic Income’ from Young Fine Gael. June 25, 2014

From I think the 1986 Fine Gael Ard Fheis a leaflet advertising a meeting on ‘Basic Income’ from Young Fine Gael.  The Basic Income was an idea also put forward by The Green Party at the time. Although it doesn’t directly mention it, there were many theories at the time regarding ‘The Leisure Age’, how as our jobs were replaced by machines we would have more time on our hands and the concept of employment would change.
Many thanks to the sender.
