From the 2011 Assembly elections and Local Elections an SDLP Leaflet for Conall McDevitt and Alasdair McDonnell who were running for the Assembly in Belfast South. The leaflet is also for Balmoral Local Election candidates Claire Hanna, Bernie Kelly and Niall Kelly.
The Leaflet also calls for a yes vote in the AV referendum held that day.
A Margaret Ritchie flyer from the SDLP Leaderhip contest where she outpolled Alasdair McDonnell by 222 votes to 187 to take over from Mark Durkan.
Its quite a powerful use of colour and the slogan ‘Let’s Make History’ is a powerful one too.

First off many thanks to the sender, I’m not sure if this is the whole flyer (ie whats on the back) but it gives an idea on what theme SDLP candidate for the forthcoming West Belfast by election, Alex Attwood is campaigning on. The election is to replace Gerry Adams who vacated his seat.
From the 2011 Assembly Elections a flyer for SDLP candidates Alex Attwood and Colin Keenan who were running in West Belfast. Attwood polled 3,765 votes and won a seat. Keenan polled 802 votes and missed out.
From the 2011 Assembly Elections a leaflet for SDLP candidates in Mid Ulster Patsy McGlone and Austin Kelly. Patsy McGlone is the Deputy leader of the SDLP.

On the front of the leaflet is a photo of Margaret Ritchie with arms outstretched. The fact that the SDLP take their seats gets a mention as does the fact that Declan O’Loan is the Honorary Consul for Romania in Northern Ireland.
