From 1997 A programme produced by SIPTU for a concert and other celebrations to mark the 50th Anniversary of the death of Jim Larkin.
In 1929 a delegation from the Dublin Trades Union and Labour Council made the journey to Moscow to coincide with the twelfth anniversary celebrations of The October Revolution. The delegation included Miss K. N. Price, W McMullen, T Geehan, H.S. Ward, T Waldron, H J Tucker, Helena Molony, P Holohan, P.T. Daly and Robert Tynan. On Returning from their mission they issued this report. It is 56 pages , contains photographs, a description of their Journey, conditions of Workers Rights and details of the places visited during the visit.
From 1995 a “Dunnes Stores National Strike” leaflet produced by the Trade Union Mandate. Interesting to see ‘Zero Hour Contracts” being an issue back then.

“They Shall Not Pass! 80 years of Fighting Fascism” a series of talks related to the Spanish Civil War organised by Anti Fascist Action and Unite on the 12th of November in Unite The Union, Middle Abbey Street.
A Leaflet from the NBRU explaining why they are striking that was left on buses on the 21st of September in advance of the next strike days.
Various parts of Ireland had factories that assembled cars. There were factories in Wexford , Cork , Tipperary and many in Dublin. One factory was Armstrongs in Ringsend which in the 70’s assembled Minis and other Leyland brands. The factory was on Ringsend Road and the Archway entrance to it is still visible (pic below taken from Google Maps).
These posters and Calendars come from the Occupation of Armstrongs which lasted a number of years.
