Found this whilst searching for something else. Its from SPUC in the UK who want to “Protect children against TV condom adverts”.
I presume they are not advertised on TV in Ireland yet.

“Protect children against TV condom adverts” – SPUC June 3, 2011

Stephen Price -Independent -1992 GE Westmeath April 7, 2010
From the 1992 General Election in Westmeath, Independent candidate Stephen Price.
An Abortion Referendum (Right to Travel , information etc) was held on the same day which led to quite a number of pro-life Independent candidates.
This in part due to Fianna Fail , which had been previously seen as Pro-Life falling out of step with SPUC and others. This in turn led to the setting up of
a number of Parties such as The Christian Principles Party, Christian Solidarity Party and The National Party.
Stephen Price polled 747 votes.
Niamh Nic Mhathúna (now Ui Bhriain) -Independent-Pro Life -1992 Dublin Central (leaflet 2) December 7, 2009
Dublin Central 1992 leaflet of Niamh Nic Mhathúna, involved in Youth Defence, daughter of Una Bean nic Mhathuna of “G’way ye wife-swapping sodomites’ fame. I gather she was involved in Coir too.
As the General Election was being held on the same day as the Abortion Referendum a higher than usual number of pro-life independents stood. Not many fared well. Niamh Nic Mhathúna polled 514 votes.

Alice Glenn Report – 1987 GE November 23, 2009
The now Independent TD, Alice Glenn explains why she left Fine Gael or how Fine Gael left her. Today Alices views look a bit extreme , however in 1987 Alices views were mainstream enough. The Other Alice Glenn report I have from around the 1986 Divorce Referendum was published by a group called ‘Family Forum’, although not mentioned here the PO box address is the same as Alices here.
Alice Glenn was first elected to the Dail in 1981 before losing her seat in the Feb 82 election. She regained her seat in the November 1982 election and served until 1987 where running as an independent she lost her seat.
Martin Hogan -‘Pro Life Man’-1992 Longford-Roscommon November 11, 2009
The 1992 General election was held on the same day as the Abortion Referenda on The Right to Life, The right to travel and The right to information.
A lot of pro life candidates stood as for the first time Fianna Fail were seen by many as no longer 100% Anti Abortion.
It was the aftermath of the ‘X Case’ and later this Referendum that led to the formation of the likes of the Christian Principles Party, The National Party,
The Christian Solidarity Party, The Christian Centreist Party and Muintir Na hEireann.
Martin Hogan Polled just 459 votes.
Colm Callanan – Christian Solidarity Party 2007 November 4, 2009
Colm Callanan who stood in Laois-Offaly and Longford-Westmeath in the 2007 GE and also in 10 different LEAs in the 2009 local elections….
His electoral record at Elections.org
Its nice to put a face to a name.
Colm only wants your Number 1 votes (“…a No 2 vote, regrettably, is of little use to me”).
Colm promises “…to take action on … homosexual adoption, increasing levels of porn in newsagents, sexual innuendo in TV ads, etc”

Gerard Casey -Christian Solidarity Party- 1997 October 18, 2009
1997 General Election in Dun Laoghaire and Gerard Casey polls a respectable 2000 votes for the CSP. The Paul O’Donaghue case refered to was regarding education rights for the disabled. Oddly enough it was Justice Rory O’Hanlon who gave the ruling. ( Justice O’Hanlons nephew Paul O’Loughlin has stood a number of times for the CSP.)
Michael Quinn -‘Independent For Life ‘-Dun Laoghaire 1992 October 16, 2009
Michael Quinn was a pro- life Independent who later ran for the National Party. He polled over 1700 first preferences in the Dun Laoghaire 92 election.
He later became involved with the Democratic Right Movement.
‘Dana’ Rosemary Scallon – 1997 Presidential Election Leaflet October 12, 2009
The 1997 Presidential Election was Dana’s first election. She finished third polling over 175,000 first preferences. Encouraged by that performance she was elected an MEP for Connaught-Ulster in 1999. She then contested Galway West in 2002 but fared badly. In 2004 she lost her European Parliament seat being eliminated before the final count.
She didn’t actually say much on this leaflet, although voters would have known her conservative views.
Richard Greene – Muintir na hÉireann 1997 Dublin South October 7, 2009
In the wake of the Lisbon 2 result, Cóir are considering becoming a political party. This is some of the election literature of Richard Greene one of the main Cóir spokespeople. Greene initially elected a councillor for the Green Party in Clonskeagh, left and founded his own party Muintir na hEireann. This is some of his literature from the 1997 General election.
Christian Solidarity Party- Paul O’Loughlin 2009 September 27, 2009
This is from the 2009 Dublin Central By-Election (He may well have stood elsewhere too.)… I love the way they are Anti Bin Tax .
Note too where the candidate mentions that he is the Nephew of Chief Justice Rory O’Hanlon!
Niamh Nic Mhathúna (now Niamh Ui Bhriain) of Youth Defence – Independent -Dublin Central 1992 September 24, 2009
Dublin Central 1992 leaflets of Niamh Nic Mhathúna, involved in Youth Defence, daughter of Una Bean nic Mhathuna of “G’way ye wife-swapping sodomites’ fame. The Leaflets are actually printed by Youth Defence. She is also supported by ‘The Family Rights Council’ and ‘The Housewives Union’.
The State is ‘Anti-Mother’, looks like she reckons the EEC is anti family too.
