  1. Jonathan White Says:

That’s fantastic – thanks for making it available. Who says nostalgia is the preserve of popular culture? William “Abbey of the Holy Cross” Fitsimons, anyone?

  2. Edward Gaffney Says:

Excellent. I have tried to digitise these for Wikipedia from the Irish Times archive, but their coverage becomes sloppy around 1985 (going back in time), and in the 1970s they are quite unreliable.

  3. Eoin McBennett Says:

There’s an error in the Tallaght 1974 result. Matt Edmond should be 1,166 and Eamonn Redmond 449. That moves the Labour % ahead of FG and tallies with their 2 seats ahead of FG’s 1. Their were 19 counts over 3 days and 3, Mervyn Taylor, Joe Connolly and Damien Murray were elected without reaching the quota.
