From the 1997 General election a flyer from Socialist Party candidate in Dublin North Clare Daly. Daly polled 2,971 votes and didn’t win a seat. She won a council seat in 1999 standing in Swords which she retained in 2004 and 2009. In the 2011 General Election she was elected to the Dail.
