An intriguing Fianna Fail ad from the February 1982 General Election with the message…
“The Coalition has taken away the right of YOUR child to enter this school at 4 years of age. Fianna Fail will Put This Right”
I’m not sure as to the background and what the coalition proposals about School going age were.
The ad asks for a vote for the Fianna Fail candidates in Galway West, Frank Fahey, Maire Geoghegan Quinn, Bobby Molloy, Mark Killilea and Nicholas O’Connor.

Flyer for Brian Hillery -Fianna Fail 1989 General Election- Dun Laoghaire January 6, 2011
From the 1989 General Election a flyer for Fianna Fail candidate Brian Hillery running in Dun Laoghaire. The then Senator, a nephew of former President Patrick Hillery, was elected on the final count despite polling just 3,795 first preferences.
In 1992 he lost his seat and was one of the Taoiseachs nominees to the Seanad.

One item was her support for the Construction sector. “The current market presents an opportunity ..for Local Authorities.. to negotiate deals to buy affordable houses..”
She would have had The State (County Councils) buy a raft of houses in 2008…. that would look well now.
Flyer for Pat Carey , Noel Ahern -Fianna Fail- 1997 GE Dublin North West
From 1997 a flyer for Noel Ahern “Brother of Bertie Ahern Leader of Fianna Fail” and Pat Carey running for Fianna Fail in Dublin North West.
Both were easily elected with Noel Ahern getting over 1.5 quotas. He has since also been elected on the first count in 2002 and 2007.
Pat Carey hasn’t really aged much since.

A Card from Willie O’Dea, Minister for Defence, with details of his various clinics. The Fianna Fail TD for Limerick East has a lot of clinics.
I also thought that in light of his unexpected sacking as a Minister he must have been stuck with a pile of these cards reminding him and voters of his demotion.

From the 2009 Dublin South By-Election a leaflet from Fianna Fail candidate Shay Brennan. Brennan the son of the Late Seamus Brennan , whos passing caused the By-Election, polled 9,250 votes in a contest won on the first count by Fine Gael Superstar George Lee.
