Possibly the only piece of Election material from 2011 with a message from Brian Cowen. A leaflet “Offaly News” from his brother, Fianna Fail Laois Offaly candidate Barry Cowen.
In the leaflet we get details of all the good things Offaly got as well as “The Truth” about various items.
For “The Bank Guarantee -The Truth
We get the justification of the guarantee, a quote from Patrick Honohan and then the punchline……
“The State has already earned €1 billion for guarantee fees in less than two years.”

Leaflet for Barry Cowen, Sean Fleming and John Moloney -Fianna Fail -Laois Offaly February 16, 2011


From the 2011 General Election a leaflet for Taoiseachs brother Barry Cowen, Sean Fleming and John Moloney all running for Fianna Fail in Laois Offaly.

From the 2009 Local Elections a leaflet for the Taoiseachs brother Barry Cowen and Sinead Dooley running for Offaly County Council in the Tullamore LEA. Sinead Dooley is Brian Cowens Personal Assistant.
The Leaflet contains a slogan I’d hazard wont be on Fianna Fails 2011 Election Material …”It Happened Under Fianna Fails Watch”

Leaflet for Fianna Fail candidates Tullamore Town Council and Offaly County Council -2009 Local Elections December 7, 2010


From the 2009 Local Elections a leaflet for the Fianna Fail candidates for Tullamore Town Council complete with lovely pic of Brian Cowen. Sinead Dooley (Brian Cowens personal assistant), Declan Harvey, Tony McCormack and Paddy Rowland were all elected whilst Shane Murray failed to get in.
Also on the leaflet voters are urged to vote for Taoiseachs brother Barry Cowen as well as Sinead Dooley and Danny Owens for Offaly County Council. All three were elected.
