A fantastic leaflet from the then Fianna Fail Councillor Garry Keegan as he chases a Fianna Fail nomination in Dublin South East for the 2007 General Election. The nomination was won by Jim O’Callaghan and Chris Andrews.
Keegan was very critical of Sinn Fein and was also involved with the family of the late Joseph Rafferty. He had Dreams for Dublin Port and other Dreams too. He resigned his seat on the Council in 2006 and was replaced by Chris Andrews.

From the historic 1932 General Election a Fianna Fail leaflet concerning their “Prepared Programme” “and the approximate numbers of workers that will get employment when in full productivity”.
It was quite a programme with a huge amount of jobs forecast. Fianna Fail got into power winning 72 seats and formed a minority Government supported by The Labour Party. The Government lasted slightly less than a year.

In the event Reynolds topped the poll and was duly appointed Minister for Industry and Commerce.

In the end neither Power or O’Toole were elected as Labour’s Sean Kenny took the third and final seat.
