From 1982…”The Role of Officers in Sinn Féin” published by The Sinn Féin Education Department as part of the ‘Republican lecture series’. It’s quite interesting as the roles are explained but also within the context of “The Troubles”. I’ve scanned it and uploaded it in pdf.

From the February 1982 General Election a leaflet from Fianna Fail in Dun Laoghaire. ‘Voters of Dun Laoghaire. For Your Future’ Vote Andrews, O’Donoghue, O Méalóid.
David Andrews and Martin O’Donoghue both held their seats, Clare O Méalóid polled 945 votes and failed to get in.

Found a few more 1982 snow pics.Not as spectacular as the first one I posted.
In the first picture the snow covers the road and is at wall height.
The second one is I gather taken later during the thaw and you can see the snow cleared to make the door accessible. Its of St Marks school in Tallaght.
The third one shows how cars were snowed in too.

Bertie Ahern, George Colley, Tom Leonard- Fianna Fail-Dublin Central November 1982 October 26, 2009
From the November 1982 General Election, a flyer for Fianna Fail candidates in Dublin Central. A young Bertie, George Colley months before his passing and Tom Leonard who would win the by election caused by Colleys death.
Ahern topped the poll with 10,542 votes with Colley also elected polling 5,622 votes, Leonard missed out polling 2,396 votes.
