From 2005 a leaflet from Sinn Fein urging the release of the Rossport Five. The Rossport five were James Brendan Philbin, Philip McGrath, Vincent McGrath, Willie Corduff and Micheál Ó Seighin. They were jailed for civil contempt of court after refusing to obey a temporary court injunction forbidding them to interfere with work being undertaken by Shell on their land.

The leaflet was the first about the EEC and its effects. It compared the situation in 1973 with that of 1988 and the impact that membership of The EEC had on Ireland.

Ex-SF Councillor Nicky Kehoe expresses his support for the party.
Nicky was an incredibly popular local councillor and came within 80 votes of taking a seat in 2002. (He actually came third in first preference votes!)
He retired from politics in 2008 and many speculated that he had fell out with the party, however he has remained a vocal supporter.
