Ex-SF Councillor Nicky Kehoe expresses his support for the party.
Nicky was an incredibly popular local councillor and came within 80 votes of taking a seat in 2002. (He actually came third in first preference votes!)
He retired from politics in 2008 and many speculated that he had fell out with the party, however he has remained a vocal supporter.

“Sinn Fein will not be part of this grubby deal to get the Finance Bill passed” “Stop the Consensus For Cuts”

A “Don’t Switch Off Struggling Householders!” Leaflet from Sinn Fein.
The leaflet condemns the government policies, gives Sinn Feins policy and gives advice to householders with troubles with the bills.

First off many thanks to the sender.

A Leaflet from Sinn Fein Cork North Central candidate Jonathan O’Brien from the 2011 General Election Campaign.
Apologies for that the image is hard to read.
First off many many to the sender who notes…
“I’m not sure when it dates from, but Moira is now in her 90’s and lived on Caledon Road, East Wall, the mother of Mick Ryan and also of Nicky Ryan – manager of Enya.
Both Moira & Mick were on the Ard Chomhlaire together in the early 70’s the only time I think that a mother and son were on together.”
I gather the leaflet is from the 1967 Local Elections. In the early 1950 she was involved with Clann na Poblachta.

A Wonderful Sinn Fein ‘Jobs For The Unemployed’ Beermat produced earlier in the year.
Some other Political beermats here and here
