From I assume 1885 or so a pamphlet “Mr. Trevelyan On Ireland” produced by The Irish Loyal and Patriotic Union. It was a unionist political organisation in Ireland, established to oppose the Irish Home Rule movement. The Irish Loyal and Patriotic Union was formed in Dublin in May 1885 by a small number of southern businessmen, landowners and academics. It contested the 1885 Westminster elections , failing to win a seat. In 1891 it became part of the Irish Unionist Alliance.

This Episode covers The Legion of Ex-Servicemen (Later the British Legion) that contested a number of Irish elections between 1925 and 1934.
In 1987 and 1989 Ronald Smith Ran under the moniker of “GOD-For Bible Readings In The Dail”. This is the story of those campaigns and what happened in between. There is also a short piece on Andrew Treacy who ran in 1985 in Midleton UDC.
From The 1977 General Election a Leaflet from Gerry McIntyre running for The Communist Party of Ireland in Dublin Artane. He polled 227 votes and missed out on a seat.

From the 1999 Local Elections a leaflet from Michael Flynn running for the Progressive Democrats in Tramore. IN the poll for the County Council he polled 387 votes and missed out on a seat, however he was elected to Tramore Town Council with 258 votes.

From the 1999 Local Elections a leaflet from Michael Scahill of The Christian Solidarity Party running in Swords. He polled 344 votes and missed out on a seat.

From the 1956 Dublin South West By-Election (Caused by the death of Fine Gael TD Peadar Doyle), a leaflet from the Fine Gael candidate Edmond Power. He polled 9,682 votes and lost out to Noel Lemass of Fianna Fáil.

From the 1989 General Election a leaflet from Des O’Malley and Peadar Clohessy running for The Progressive Democrats in Limerick East. Both were elected.

From the 2004 Local Elections a leaflet from Hilary Quinlan of Fine Gael running in Waterford No. ! where he topped the poll with 923 votes.

From the 2022 Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis, a leaflet from Fintan Bray who made History by being elected to the Fianna Fáil Committee of 15 (The Party National Executive) and thus becoming the first person with Down syndrome to be elected to a senior position in a political party in Ireland.

In the 1997 General Election , 11 candidates stood for The Independent Dublin Dream Team Band. This was the Irish branch of The Rainbow Dream Ticket, Vote For Yourself, Make Politicians History series of Parties founded by Rainbow George Weiss. This episode covers the 1997 General Election Campaign as well as Rainbow Georges various forays into Irish Politics, North and South.
In early 1991, An Post issued details of a massive cost cutting plan which involved the closure and downgrading of various Post Offices throughout the Country as well as the introduction of roadside boxes for those whose dwellings were a distance from the road. Two ‘Post Office Candidates’ , Paul Beirne and Danny Burke stood in Roscommon in the Local Elections as a protest.
