From the 1992 General Election a newsletter from Michael McDowell of The Progressive Democrats running in Dublin South East. He polled 4504 votes and regained the seat he lost in 1989.

From the 2002 General Election a paper “IFF News” produced by Niall Blaney who was running for Independent Fianna Fáil in Donegal North East. In what turned out to be the last General Election fought by the Blaney Independent Fianna Fáil Party, Blaney polled 6,124 votes and was elected.

Founded in 1936, The Farmers Trade Union were based in Cavan and had branches in Monaghan, Leitrim and Longford also. They contested Local Elections in Cavan winning seats in a number of elections. In 1955 they dissolved to become part of the National Farmers Union.

late 1969. They raised issues such as Mental Health and family planning.
