“Churchtown Past & Present” a lovely leaflet giving the history of many of the local landmarks of Churchtown in Dublin. It was produced by Fine Gael Senator Neale Richmond. I must confess to loving leaflets like this with Local History in them.

From the 1995 All-Ireland Football final match programme an ad looking for Extras in the Bloody Sunday scene of the “Michael Collins” Movie filmed at the Carlisle Grounds in Bray. There were various prizes including a years rental from Xtravision. Women were “welcome dressed in male clothing”.

From the run up to the 1937 General Election an edition of “Sean Óglac” The “Official Organ of the National Association of Old Irish Republican Army”. It advocates for a vote for Fianna Fail giving detailed reasons why. There are other notices which are interesting too. Click on the image to enlarge.

From 1934 a booklet “The Way To Peace Outlined by Eamon De Valera” issued by Fianna Fáil. Historically it’s of interest as among other things,it covers a Dail Debate which centres on Communism in Ireland as well as The Blueshirts and General O’Duffy. Interesting too that Dail debates were issued by the parties themselves. I’ve scanned and uploaded it in pdf format available here
