Curry is the chairperson of The Ballyogan Environmetal Group and has endorsements here from Joe Higgins, Richard Boyd Barrett and former Socialist Party Dublin South and Local Election candidate Lisa Maher (Leaflet here).

John Gormley leaflet from the 1992 General Election Dublin South East


From the 1992 General election a leaflet for now Green party leader John Gormley. Having been elected to the council a year previously he polled 2,476 votes which was actually down on his 1989 total.
He was elected in 1997.

From the 2011 General Election a flyer for Labour Party candidate Tommy Broughan running in Dublin North East. It also asks for a number 2 vote for running mate Sean Kenny.
Broughan and Kenny were first on the ticket together in the 1989 General Election. The one occasion where they both were elected was in the 1992 Spring Tide General Election.

Alan Shatter Newsletter Jan/Feb 2011 February 3, 2011


From the 2011 General Election in Dublin South a Newsletter from Fine Gael TD Alan Shatter.
There are various themes including awards he’d won from the Mirror and Irish Independent but he also mentions that word ‘Change’…
Change is often a theme in Elections,never more so than at the minute. The PDs in 1987 were “For Real Change” , In 1982 Fine Gael wanted “Change for the Better“, it was a slogan they used in 2007 also. In 2007 Pat Rabbitte gave Labours “five Commitments for change“.
Here Shatter goes that bit further and mentions “Revolutionary democratic change“.
