From the 1994 Local Elections (for Town Councils and UDCs) a leaflet from Progressive Democrat candidate Deirdre O’Donoghue who was running for a seat on Dundalk UDC in the North Ward. The then Dundalk Democrat Journalist polled 105 votes and failed to win a seat.
From the 2011 Assembly Elections a flyer for SDLP candidates Alex Attwood and Colin Keenan who were running in West Belfast. Attwood polled 3,765 votes and won a seat. Keenan polled 802 votes and missed out.
From the 2011 General Election a letter to small business people from Denis Naughten of Fine Gael running in Roscommon South Leitrim. Amongst the items covered is a quote from The Sunday Independent that “SF swing can make Gilmore Taoiseach” and that a vote for any other candidate or party is a vote for “a Government of the Far Left”
From the 2011 General Election a Labour Party flyer with the headline “Families Need A Fair & Balanced Government”. On the reverse is the headline “Families need Labour in Government” with details as to why.
From the 1989 Seanad Election for a seat on the NUI panel a leaflet from Independent candidate John McGilligan. Although running as an Independent McGilligan has an endorsement on the front of his leaflet from Garret Fitzgerald. Other supporters included Fine Gael figures such as Gemma Hussey, Mary Banotti and Maurice Manning.

From February 2011 ‘Nuachtlitir Uachtar na bhFál’ the Upper Falls Sinn Fein newsletter. Its somewhat geared towards the Assembly and Local Elections . The main headline deals with investment in the GAA through the refurbishment of Casement Park.

From the 2011 Assembly Elections a leaflet from a group called Precious Life asking.. “Before voting ask your candidates..’Will you protect the rights of a child before birth?’ “.
Similar leaflets, now appear at most elections.
The Late Garret Fitzgerald writes thanking ‘all who have supported me in the eight general elections since 1969 in Dublin South East’.
He also asks for a number one vote for Frances Fitzgerald and number 2 for Joe Doyle.
In the end Frances Fitzgerald got in, but the second Fine Gael Seat was lost to Michael McDowell.

From the 1985 Local Elections a sample Ballot paper issued by Independent Fianna Fail for Letterkenny UDC. The candidates were Tadhg Culbert, James Larkin, Hugh Dorrian and Jim Lynch. (A leaflet from them with details of the candidates is posted here)
Of the other Non Party candidates Patrick J Blake, Charles Grant and Sean Maloney ran for The Community Party, whilst James Devenney ran for the Donegal Progressive Party which attracted a Protestant vote.

From the 2011 General Election a letter from Fianna Fail Carlow Kilkenny TD John McGuinness to a constituent asking for a vote and extolling the virtues of his clinic staff. Attached to the letter was what looked like a copy of a press clipping (Although no paper was mentioned) praising the staff in his office.
