From the 2007 General Election, a Flyer from Terence Flanagan one of the Fine Gael candidates in Dublin North East.
Despite being in fifth place after the first count on 4,483 votes he was second over the line to be elected in the 3 seater. He was returned again in 2011.

From the 2007 General Election a “Sorry to have missed you!” scrap of flimsy paper from then Green Party TD Paul Gogarty. Although placed fifth in first preference votes (in this four seater) Gogarty held his seat and was the secomd TD to be elected.

Healy, who was seen as a possible outside chance of a seat, polled 2,349 votes.

Sandra McLellan -Sinn Fein -Cork East – 2007 General Election June 5, 2011


From the 2007 General Election a flyer for Sinn Fein candidate in Cork East, Youghal based Sandra McLellan. McLellan , a Youghal Town Councillor at the time, polled an impressive 3,672 votes. In 2009 she was elected to Cork County Council and in 2011 she won a Dail seat in Cork East.

The “targets for government 2007 to 2012” part makes grim reading considering our current situation.

From Martin Luther Kings “I Have Dream” to Bertie , Eoin Ryan, Michael Donnelly and Garry Keegans “”We Have a Dream” …
A fantastic leaflet from the then Fianna Fail Councillor Garry Keegan as he chases a Fianna Fail nomination in Dublin South East for the 2007 General Election. The nomination was won by Jim O’Callaghan and Chris Andrews.
Keegan was very critical of Sinn Fein and was also involved with the family of the late Joseph Rafferty. He had Dreams for Dublin Port and other Dreams too. He resigned his seat on the Council in 2006 and was replaced by Chris Andrews.

From the 2007 General Election a flyer for Ben Doyle of The Progressive Democrats who ran in Dublin South Central. He polled 438 votes whilst his running mate Frank McNamara of Late Late show fame polled 474 votes.
In the 2009 Local Elections, Doyle ran unsuccessfully for Fianna Fail in the Ballyfermot Drimnagh ward.
