From the 2004 Local Elections a newsletter from Progressive Democrats candidate John Kenny who was running in Dublins South East Inner City Ward. Kenny polled 324 votes and failed to win a seat. He was co-opted to replace Wendy Hederman on Dublin City Council in 2007 and didn’t stand in the 2009 Local Elections by which time the PDs had disbanded.

From the 2004 Local Elections a leaflet from Labour Candidate for Tralee Town Council Miriam McGillycuddy. She polled 562 votes and retained her seat.
In the 2004 European Elections former Independent Senator Brendan Ryan running for Labour polled 19,975 votes and missed out on a seat in the South constituency.
