“This card was given to my grandmother by her uncle after Ruari Bruagha joined FF.
I understand it is a card given to him at Cathal Bruagha’s anniversary mass a year or two after his death. He was a friend of the Bruagha family”

From the 1959 Presidential Election and the Referendum on the Change in Voting system a flyer urging a vote for Eamon De Valera for president and a Yes vote in the Referendum.
De Valera was elected defeating Sean MacEoin. The Referendum proposal was defeated 486,989 votes against to 453,322 votes in favour.

From the 1977 General Election an ad for Redmond Sullivan who was running for Sinn Fein The Workers Party in Kerry South. The Killarney based Councillor polled 1,065 votes.
First elected to Kerry County Council in 1960, he served until 1979 when he lost his seat.
