Got sent this recently (Thanks to the donor)…From the 2007 General Election Campaign a Fine Gael poster parody of the ‘Welcome to Parlon Country’ Posters.
It was also a parody of the PDs negative campaigning (‘Left Wing Government- No Thanks’ ,  ‘Single Party Government – No Thanks etc )

Killian Forde-Donaghmede Sinn Fein Special Bulletin 2004 on Donaghmede Probation Office March 2, 2010

From April 2004 in the run up to the 2004 local and European Elections, a Donaghmede Sinn Fein special Bulletin on Donaghmede Probation Office.
Then Sinn Fein candidate Killian Forde writes of the true costs of the project and the link between prominent Fianna Fail donors and the location of the office.
Other concerns include the fact that other sites weren’t inspected, the cost overruns, waste of public money and only a part of the offices capacity being used.
Is the office fully occupied now?

Sean Quirke -Progressive Democrat -Enniscorthy 2004 LE January 13, 2010

Sean Quirke PD candidate in Enniscorthy in the 2004 Local Elections. Despite an excellent GAA pedigree (Chairman of the Wexford County Board and member of Oylegate/Glenbrien) and some other impressive community activity such as helping in pilgrimages to Lourdes and being involved with the Irish Rural Dwellers Association,  Sean failed to get in.
Amongst his priorities was ‘Ensuring decentralisation is delivered to Enniscorthy’. Theres a message too from Tom Parlon, Minister for OPW, complimenting Sean.
