A Leaflet Join the ‘Anti-Austerity Alliance’ from the Limerick Anti-Austerity Alliance Campaign , which is part of a National Anti Austerity Alliance which will be fielding candidates in the 2014 Local Elections. The ‘Anti-Austerity Alliance’ was previously part of the Campaign against Household and Water Taxes and The Campaign Against Property Tax and Austerity .
Eight candidates have been selected so far in Limerick (with more to come) They are:
Cian Prendiville and Mary Hartery to contest the North City ward
Derrick Towell, Paul Keller & Stephanie O’Shea to contest the 8 seat East City ward
John Loftus to contest the 7 seat West City ward.
In the county, Joe Harrington will contest the Newcastle West ward, and Kathleen Enright will contest in Adare/Rathkeale.
According to the campaign, another selection conference will be organised in the autumn to add an extra candidate for West City, and for the Cappamore Killmallock ward.

A leaflet from The Communist Party of Ireland about the 1913 Lockout and what we can do today.
From the 1973 General Election Campaign a leaflet from The League for a Workers’ Republic -Young Socialists with the headline “Fianna Fail Out!” and urging voters to vote for Labour to encourage the likes of Matt Merrigan and Noel Browne to pursue Socialist Policies in government. Amongst those involved in the LWR were Carol Coulter, Alex White and Paddy Healy. More information on them here and here
The Summer 2013 newsletter from former Labour TD for Dublin West Patrick Nulty. The leaflet explains his reason for resigning from Labour. It also has local news, mortgage arrears as well as him pictured with Bernard Dunne, Dennis Bastick , Davy Byrne and John Bean.

From 1970 a poster from the The Communist Party of Ireland (Marxist – Leninist) Dublin Branch with the slogan ‘Don’t Vote for the National Traitors’. I’m not quite sure if the ‘National Traitors’ were the CPI or just everyone else on the political spectrum to the CPI(ML).
From February 2004 a leaflet against privatisation of transport services from the Socialist Party.
From a 1969 ‘Bulletin’ from The Dublin Housing Action Committee called ‘Crisis’ the Aims and Objectives of the group.
From December 1977 “Sinn Fein The Workers Party ‘Notes & Comments’ ” a newsletter for members outlining various party issues . There are suggested ways of raising funds via extra newspaper sales. The roles of party branches is discussed, The new printing press is mentioned as are the forthcoming European Elections and other matters.
From the 2002 General Election a leaflet from Workers Party Candidate Ted Tynan who was running in Cork North Central. Tynan polled 458 votes and failed to win a seat.

“There can be no more delays, expert groups or excuses” an X-case leaflet distributed by The Socialist Workers Party at recent Action on X demos in Dublin.
From December 2004 a leaflet from the Coolock/Artane Campaign Against The Bin Tax about the computerization of bin lorries, debt collectors and more related to the Bin Tax.
“Fight the ban on abortion rights .. X is not Enough” a leaflet from the Socialist Party. The leaflet outlines the party’s pro choice position as well as criticising the proposed framework of six doctors and legislating for X . The leaflet was distributed at the 29th April 2013 Action on X rally in Dublin.
An “X is Not Enough, Fight for Repeal..Abortion Rights Now” Leaflet from ROSA (for Reproductive rights, against Oppression, Sexism & Austerity) who are a group initiated by women in The Socialist Party.
