Not sure when exactly this Old Fianna Fail Poster is from, although I suspect it is from the 1932 General Election. Variations of the slogan “Mr Cosgrave Will Think More About The Unemployed After The Elections – He’ll be One of Them” have been used over the years.

From the 2011 General Election a letter from Fianna Fail Carlow Kilkenny TD John McGuinness to a constituent asking for a vote and extolling the virtues of his clinic staff. Attached to the letter was what looked like a copy of a press clipping (Although no paper was mentioned) praising the staff in his office.

Scanlon was previously elected to the Seanad on the Agricultural Panel in 2002 before winning a Dail seat in 2007 in Sligo North Leitrim. He lost his seat in the 2011 General Election.
He resigned the party whip for a period in the Dail, in opposition to cuts in breast cancer services at Sligo General Hospital.

Mansergh wants “to help rebuild the country’s economy …” and “make Fianna Fail once more a force in Irish Politics and Government…” . He also tells the reader that he was the “Subject of a biography by Kevin Rafter“.
He also note that “I support all (legal) field Sports”
