In the letter Bertie , amongst other things, expresses ‘regret’ for all those that have lost their jobs as well as extolling Cyprians virtues.
From the 2011 General Election a flyer from Mary Mitchell O’Connor of Fine Gael who was running in Dun Laoghaire. Standing in her first General Election, the former Progressive Democrat councillor was elected.
From the 2011 General Election a flyer for Independent candidate Mannix Flynn running in Dublin South East. Flynn, who had been elected to Dublin City Council in 2009, polled 1,248 votes.
From the 2011 General Election a flyer for Independent candidate Michael Beirne running in Kildare North.
The Celbridge based Beirne polled 422 votes.

An unusual flyer from Independent Stephen Donnelly running in Wicklow in the 2011 General Election. He asks you to phone your friends looking for votes for him. I presume its a tactic imported from the US.
Donnelly was elected.
From the 2011 General Election Flyer for Liam Dumpleton running as an Independent in Laois Offaly. Former Labour Party member Dumpleton, who works for Midlands 103 FM polled 382 votes.
From the 2011 General Election a flyer for Independent candidate Sean Canney running in Galway East. The Tuam based councillor was tipped by many as being in with a shout of a seat. He polled 5,567 votes but missed out.

Possibly the only piece of Election material from 2011 with a message from Brian Cowen. A leaflet “Offaly News” from his brother, Fianna Fail Laois Offaly candidate Barry Cowen.
In the leaflet we get details of all the good things Offaly got as well as “The Truth” about various items.
For “The Bank Guarantee -The Truth”
We get the justification of the guarantee, a quote from Patrick Honohan and then the punchline……
“The State has already earned €1 billion for guarantee fees in less than two years.”
From the 2011 General Election a Flyer for Clement Esebamen an Independent running in Dublin West. Esebamen, who arrived in Ireland in 1999, polled 280 votes.
A video from Michael Gleeson the South Kerry Independent Alliance candidate running in Kerry South. Gleeson polled 4,939 votes and narrowly missed out on a seat.
From the 2011 General election a flyer for long standing Labour councillor Des Hurley running in Carlow Kilkenny. The Carlow based Hurley polled 3,908 votes and failed to win a seat. His party colleague, the Kilkenny based Ann Phelan was elected.
An unusual flyer this from 2011 Dublin South candidate Jane Murphy in that you have the candidate running for The CSP and also promoting another Party Direct Democracy Ireland. Oddly enough Raymond Whitehead also stood for Direct Democracy Ireland in Dublin South.
Jane Murphy polled 277 votes
DDI would like to make it clear that the CSP is a COMPLETE separate organisation with COMPLETE separate people running it. Separate religious agenda – where DDI has complete none – TOTALLY SEPARATE people running it’s rules and constitution and separate founders. Separate headquarters and again separate head-office location.
From the 2011 General Election campaign an ad for Seamus Ryan running for the Labour Party in Waterford. The Waterford City based councillor is pictured with Waterford hurling star Ken McGrath outside McGraths sports shop in Georges Street in Waterford.
Its unusual enough to see a candidate endorsed in an ad by an Inter County player. Ryan polled 4,638 and missed out on winning a seat.
From the 2011 General Election a leaflet from Independent candidate John Bracken running in Laois Offaly. The Ballycumber based Independent polled 625 votes.
From the 2011 General Election a leaflet for Sinn Fein candidate Eoin O’Broin running in Dublin Mid West. O’Broin polled 5,060 votes and narrowly missed out on a seat.
A former Belfast City Councillor he stood in 2007 in Dun Laoghaire and in Ballybrack in the 2009 Local Elections. Ó Broin has had a number of books published and regularly contributes pieces to various papers and periodicals.
From the 2011 General Election in Mayo a Castlebar based Leaflet from Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny. Has details of the five point plan as well as pen pics of the Four Fine Gael candidates Enda Kenny, Michelle Mulherin, John O’Mahony and Michael Ring.
All four Fine Gael candidates were elected.
