From the 2007 General Election a leaflet from Sinn Fein candidate in Meath East Joanne Finnegan. Finnegan polled 1,695 votes and failed to win a seat.
In the 2009 Local Elections she ran as an Independent in Slane and again failed to win a seat polling 394 votes. Article here on her decision to run as an Independent.
Was poking through some Meath leaflets when I found this 2007 Leaflet from Fine Gael Meath East candidate Regina Doherty. Doherty polled 4,363 votes and missed out on a seat.

From the 2007 General Election Campaign a four page leaflet from Progressive Democrat TD Mary Harney running in Dublin Mid West. The headline had “Ten Reasons to Support Mary Harney” and inside there was a message from Mary Harney, local issues in Lucan and her achievements in Health.
From the 2007 General Election campaign a leaflet from Fine Gael candidate Jim D’Arcy who was running in Louth. The longstanding Councillor polled 2,573 votes and failed to win a seat. In 2011 he was appointed to the Seanad by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

From the 2007 General Election a leaflet from Progressive Democrat candidate in Dublin West Mags Murray. Murray, who had been elected to the council in 2004, polled 553 votes and failed to win a seat. She was reelected to Fingal County Council in 2009 when running for Fianna Fail.
On the reverse is the “Labour Driving The Next Government – No Thanks ” cartoon.

From the 2007 General Election a leaflet from Fine Gael candidate John Perry running in Sligo North Leitrim. On the front there is a heavily airbrushed picture of Enda Kenny along with pictures of running mates Imelda Henry and Michael Comiskey.
The Ballymote based Perry was the only one of three candidates to be elected.

From the 2007 General Election Campaign a leaflet from Evelyn Cawley an Independent running in Wicklow. Active locally, the Greystones based Cawley was seen as an outside chance of a seat. On the day she polled 2,246 votes and finished down the field.
