The Souvenir Programme for the Jim Larkin Memorial Fund match between Drumcondra and Doncaster Rovers held in Dalymount Park held on the 9th of May 1952. The programme has a piece on Larkin , The Workers Union of Ireland, and the Memorial fund which aimed to Build a Jim Larkin Memorial Hall. The game was started by Oscar Traynor and it was quite an impressive Drumcondra line up.
That was my late father Paddy Neville in goal.
That’s fantastic Joe. My father was a Drums fan and used to sing the praises of Rosie Henderson. He must have seen you’re Da play too.
Just getting back to replying (post exams and Christmas). The Coffey on the team was the late Timmy Coffey who lived literaly next door to us in Walkinstown for over thirty years. It is my understanding that the Haughey on that team was none other than the late C.J.
wow, that would be something else. Thanks Joe
