From ‘This Week’ magazine April 1970 a profile of a pre Arms trial Charles Haughey. In an almost ‘Hello’ type interview and profile that feautures his family, his horses and much more. The question of the sale of house and lands in Raheny to builders is glossed over. Still worth a read.

From the 2004 European Elections “Give Dublin a Fresh Start in Europe” a leaflet from Fianna Fail Dublin candidate Royston Brady. Brady had been expected to poll well but his campaign went awry after a number of poor radio appearances and he polled just over 8% of the vote and never challenged for a seat.

From the 1989 European Elections a leaflet from Fianna Fail Dublin candidates Niall Andrews and Eileen Lemass. Both were outgoing MEPS however Eileen Lemass lost her seat.
From the 1992 General Election a letter to voters in Dublin Central an “Election Message from Mr. Bertie Ahern T.D., Minister for Finance”. He topped the poll with 11,374 votes but neither of his running mates Dermot Fitzpatrick or Olga Bennett were elected.
