A lovely leaflet this from the 1985 Local Elections for Labour Party candidates in Greystones Tom Mulligan and Charlie Keddy. Keddy polled 448 votes whilst Mulligan polled 214 votes. Neither were elected.

From the 2007 General Election campaign a leaflet from Fine Gael candidate Jim D’Arcy who was running in Louth. The longstanding Councillor polled 2,573 votes and failed to win a seat. In 2011 he was appointed to the Seanad by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

Crowley with a massive 154,195 votes, the highest number of votes and percentage of votes gotten by a candidate in European Elections in the Republic of Ireland.
