From I assume 1885 or so a pamphlet “Mr. Trevelyan On Ireland” produced by The Irish Loyal and Patriotic Union. It was a unionist political organisation in Ireland, established to oppose the Irish Home Rule movement. The Irish Loyal and Patriotic Union was formed in Dublin in May 1885 by a small number of southern businessmen, landowners and academics. It contested the 1885 Westminster elections , failing to win a seat. In 1891 it became part of the Irish Unionist Alliance.
