From the 2007 General Election Campaign a document from Fianna Fail ‘Securing Prosperity and Jobs’. It was part of the “Now The Next Steps” manifesto.
Amongst the promises were to
Retain the flexibility to deal with any future shocks

We believe that our spending and taxation commitments are the right policies for
Ireland. They are also sustainable and will be delivered, in a strong economic
environment, alongside responsible budgetary outturns.

At the end we get Some nice graphs and charts on the likes of “Total Numbers at Work” ,”General Government Debt/GDP”

The Poor Can’t Pay www.thepoorcantpay.ie is a civil society coalition that believes those earning the minimum wage or living on social welfare should not be forced to pay the cost of our present economic crisis.

From the 2004 Local Elections a leaflet for Socialist Workers Party candidate Ritchie Browne running in the Artane Ward.
Browne running on an Anti Bin Tax platform polled 792 votes but failed to get in.

From the 2002 General Election a leaflet for Sinn Fein candidate Niamh Hogg running in Westmeath. She polled 1,185 votes and failed to win a seat. She later stood without success in the 2004 Local Elections.

“Fighting For Your Future” -Brian Ó Domhnaill Manifesto – Fianna Fail -Donegal South West By-Election


The recently launched Manifesto from Fianna Fail Donegal South West By Election Candidate Brian Ó Domhnaill.
The seven page Personal Manifesto “Fighting For Your Future” , takes notice of National issues. He writes that he will vote for the forthcoming budget.
Because I believe we must act to restore the national finances before we can again see jobs and growth I am very clearly saying I will support the proposed multi-year budget plan. This means I will have to support many unpopular choices – but I will not join the other candidates in pretending that these choices can be avoided.
And the Fianna Fail Harp Logo makes a comeback appearing on the second page.

Pearse Doherty Leaflet -Sinn Fein 2010 Donegal South West By-Election November 17, 2010


From the 2010 Donegal South West By-Election a leaflet for Sinn Fein Candidate Pearse Doherty. It was Dohertys High Court Action that led to the holding of the by-election. In 2007 he came very close to winning a seat polling over 21% of the vote. He was subsequently elected to the Seanad. He is seen as having a great chance of winning the seat at the by-election.
