Famously Noel Treacys first election was the last time a government won a By-Election. Oddly enough Michael Kitt was also elected at a by-election.
Michael Kitt is son of former Fianna Fail TD Michael F Kitt. He is also the brother of Fianna Fail TDs Aine Brady and Tom Kitt as well as being brother in law of former Fianna Fail TD Gerry Brady.
