From the 1999 European Elections a leaflet from Noel Treacy who was running for Fianna Fail in Connacht -Ulster. The then TD for Galway East polled 47,933 votes and missed out on a seat.

From the 2007 General Election, Berties Team for Galway East Noel Treacy, Joe Callanan and Michael Kitt.
Famously Noel Treacys first election was the last time a government won a By-Election. Oddly enough Michael Kitt was also elected at a by-election.
Michael Kitt is son of former Fianna Fail TD Michael F Kitt. He is also the brother of Fianna Fail TDs Aine Brady and Tom Kitt as well as being brother in law of former Fianna Fail TD Gerry Brady.
