A unusual flyer From John Dwyer an Independent candidate running in Wexford in the 2011 General election. The New Ross based Councillor Dwyer, had previously stood for Sinn Fein on a number of occasions.

From the 2004 Local Elections a flyer for Sinn Fein candidate Peadar Tobin running for Navan Town Council and Meath County Council. Tobin failed to win a seat on either.
Also on the flyer is the Sinn Fein European Election candidate John Dwyer. Dwyer polled well but failed to win a seat. Tipped by many to win a seat in the 2007 General Election, Dwyer missed out. In 2009 he left Sinn Fein and is part of the “Independent Left” group.
