From the morning of the 2011 General Election a ‘Good Morning’ flyer from Fianna Fail candidate Chris Andrews running in Dublin South East. Using the slogan “Representation with Integrity” Andrews flyer does not mention Fianna Fail nor have the party logo. Andrews who had been elected in 2007 lost his seat polling 3,922 votes.
From the 2011 General Election in Dublin South West, “Who Will Defend You?” leaflet from Pat Rabbitte and Eamonn Maloneyrunning for the Labour Party. Both were elected.

From the 2011 General Election a leaflet from Independent Candidate Caroline Forde who was running in Cavan Monaghan. Forde , an employee of the Quinn group was seen as the Sean Quinn candidate and was tipped by many as an outside chance of a seat.
She endorsed “the proposals put forward by the Quinn family for Quinn insurance as by far the only viable solution which will maximise for the people of Cavan / Monaghan the full value and potential for growth, not just in jobs retention but jobs growth in the area.”
She polled 1912 votes and failed to win a seat.
“Let’s get Mayo moving … Don’t heed the spin of others!” and ad from fine Gael Mayo candidate Michelle Mulherin from the 2011 General Election. Mulherin was elected as Fine Gale took four out of the five seats in the constituency.

Former Minister and Fianna Fail TD Batt O’Keeffe didn’t stand in the 2011 General Election. This is a letter from him to a ‘supporter’, the only problem being that the sender (many thanks) notes ….

“Put Gorey in Government” a Leaflet from Fine Gael Wexford candidate Michael D’Arcy in the 2011 General Election. Gorey based D’Arcy polled well with 8,418 votes but narrowly missed out to party colleague Liam Twomey. D’Arcy was elected in the subsequent Seanad Elections on the Administrative Panel.
The Gorey area still has no TD.

From the 2011 General Election a flyer from Independent TD Noel Grealish running in Galway West. Former PD TD Grealish was elected.
“Fine Gael -Every Little Hurts!” a Labour Party ad from the 2011 General Election based on ads for Tesco. They appeared in newspapers during the campaign.
From the 2011 General Election aleaflet from Fianna Fail candidate Mary O’Rourke who was running in Longford Westmeath. The long serving TD and Senator failed to hold on to the seat she regained in 2007.
A Poster/Flyer for Independent candidate Jim Tallon who was running in the 2011 General Election in Wicklow. Tallon polled 166 votes. He has stood numerous times in elections ranging from Local to European (His record at Electionsireland.org).
There is a youtube channel with a number of videos of the candidate. Mr. Tallon declares himself a prisoner of war and President of The Republic of Glastnost Perestroika (which is his farm near Arklow).

From the 2011 General Election a leaflet from Green Party candidate in Kerry South Oonagh Comerford. Comerford polled 401 votes and failed to win a seat.
From the 2011 General Election a leaflet from Mick Rediy who was running under the “New Vision” banner in Kerry North West Limerick. Reidy polled 357 votes.
A leaflet from Patrick Nulty of the Labour party from Dublin West in the 2011 General Election. Nulty polled 2,686 and missed out on the last seat to the late Brian Lenihan .His running mate Joan Burton topped the poll with well over a quota. Nulty is the Labour candidate for the forthcoming Dublin West By-Election.
From the 2011 General Election a flyer for Fianna Fail candidates David McGuinness and the late Brian Lenihan who were running in Dublin West. Lenihan was elected, the sole Fianna Fail TD elected in Dublin. McGuinness is thought to be the frontrunner for the Fianna Fail nomination to contest the forthcoming Dublin West by-election.
From the 2011 General ELection a leaflet for David Stanton of Fine Gael who was running in Cork East. Stanton , first elected in 1997, held on to his seat polling over 10,000 votes.
