2015 in review December 30, 2015
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.
Here's an excerpt:
The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 190,000 times in 2015. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 8 days for that many people to see it.

Modern Wife Exhibition November 5, 2014
This exhibition will be held at the National Print Museum of Ireland between August and October 2015, is currently being crowdfunded and is quite close to reaching the target.
The curator Ciara Meehan notes that “with four days left, I’m anxious to ensure that I do everything possible to make sure I hit the target (otherwise money thus far donated is refunded back to the donors). You might have noticed, that the top tier reward for a donation of €150 is a framed display of the donor’s choice once the exhibition has ended. I’m willing to offer one of these displays for the reduced price of €50. I’ve attached two mock-ups.If so, the instructions would be as follows: to claim the special offer, simply by-pass the standard reward levels on Fund:It and enter €50 in the ‘define your own amount’ box. That person should then comment on the blog post so that they can be identified as having claimed the offer. Here’s the link to Fund:It http://fundit.ie/project/modern-wife-modern-life-exhibition and to the exhibition website for further information: http://modernwifemodernlifeexhibition.com “

Something unusual here that may be of interest. A leaflet from the Belgian Centrist Party CDH entirely done as a comic book. Although Cartoons regularly feature in Irish Election material I’ve only once seen a comic strip which was in A Sinn Fein leaflet.
