Two Leaflets from John Bailey running for Fine Gael in Dun Laoghaire, taking credit for blocking several housing developments and reminding residents of his anti-Traveller credentials.
“BAILEY CALLS A HALT ON SITE!” was delivered in January 2014. He tells residents he will be voting against a proposed “halting site” on Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire. The proposal in question didn’t contain a halting site but was in fact just five units of residential accommodation for members of the Travelling community. The scheme was approved by his fellow FG councillors in conjunction with Labour.
