Don Culloty -Labour Party- Killarney UDC 1999 Local Elections June 16, 2010

From the 1999 local elections a leaflet for Labour candidate Don Culloty running for a seat on Killarney UDC. He polled 138 votes and failed to be elected. I’m curious if he is any relation to former Jockey and now Trainer Jim Culloty.
The leaflet also mentions that Breeda Moynihan Cronin and Andrew McCarthy are running for the County Council, that Sean Counihan is the other Labour candidate for the UDC and that Paula Desmond is running for Europe.

Breeda Moynihan Cronin, Labour TD for Kerry South from 1992 until 2007 and Andrew McCarthy running in the 1999 Local Elections in Killarney.
Breeda Moynihan-Cronin won a seat and with the deemise of the Dual Mandate in 2003 Andrew McCarthy was co-opted onto the Council.
