Ratzinger would be subject to citizen’s arrest if he set foot in Ireland. At least 2,000 people went to the Child Abuse Commission with testimony of abuse by Vatican employees … then there’s the 14,000 who appeared before the Redress Board and there’s around 35,000 survivors still alive, from the abusive institutions, who’d be interested in seeing this guy and his cohorts in the dock.
Think they are protesting outside the Dail today between 2 and 4 , protesting against the closure of the Irish Embassy to the Vatican and presumably looking for an invite for Pope Benedict.
