When looking at the site in the Latest News Section for 20 February
2001.
Progressive Democrats National Chairman, Councillor John Minihan today called on the Minister for the Environment, Noel Dempsey TD, to introduce internet voting in the Irish voting system. He said: “Tens of thousands of Irish people are computer literate and they should be given the option of using technology to exercise their democratic right in elections.”
