Qarryvale Palmerstown leaflet from Fintan McCarthy- Green Party -2004 LE Lucan November 1, 2010


From the 2004 Local Elections a leaflet focused on the Qarryvale/ Palmerstown areas from Green Party candidate Fintan McCarthy. McCarthy who had been co-opted to replace his friend Paul Gogarty in 2003 polled 2,440 votes and was easily elected.
Tragically, in 2006 Fintan McCarthy and his girlfriend Sonya Rabbitte died in a road accident whilst holidaying in China.

From the 2004 Local Elections in the Lucan LEA, A letter to voters from Fianna Fail candidate Ed O’Brien. In the letter he writes amongst other things that he is a local and will be taking his posters down.
He polled 480 votes and failed to win a seat.

 

Jeff Aherne -Progressive Democrats -Lucan 2004 Local Elections April 7, 2010


From the 2004 Local Elections Progressive Democrat Candidate Jeff Aherne running in Lucan.He polled 1,098 votes and was not elected.
Jeff Ahere also ran in the 2007 General Election in Kildare North polling 983 votes.
He is (was?) a Director of cartell.ie

From the 2004 Local Elections Fine Gael candidate Joe MacEnri running in the Lucan LEA. He wasn’t elected.
Messages include Lucan being under represented on the council, schools, youth facilities and Adamamstown.
