From the 1983 Dublin Central By-Election, caused by the death of George Colley a leaflet from Sinn Fein candidate Christy Burke. Amongst the issues raised in the leaflet are Section 31, Water Rates, TDs Pay and pensions.

    Sinn Fein, you fought the good political fight with your hands tied behind your back by RTE, but as could expected, once again the Nazis (aka Finn Gael) and their lapdogs (aka Labour) have won the day and Phil Hogan FG (aka not the smartest brain in politics) have triumphed over the water charge. Well, what can we expect, FG always leave a nasty smell behind them – a legacy no decent Irishman or woman should be proud of.
