Happened upon this 1999 press release from Ivor Callely where he urges a ‘Tattooing and piercing info campaign’
Given his current difficulties his press release sounds even more bizarre. There must have been an uproar at the time on Joe Duffy about Tatoos and Piercings.

Rings a bell alright. Wasn’t he a Junior Minister at the Dept of Transport for a while?
