From the 1994 European Elections in Dublin, Progressive Democrat candidate Stephen O’Byrnes. He failed to win a seat.
O’Byrnes also stood in 1992 in Dublin North East without success. He was better known as a driving force in the background of the party.

It’s somewhat ironic to see a poster where O’Byrnes (a PR consultant who was twice appointed to the RTE authority years after abandoning politics) decries “appointing family and friends to government posts” and “spending £2.25m on PR consultants”. £2.25m isn’t the sort of figure that would get MKC excited these days.
