Canvass Card from Gerry ‘Ginger’ McLoughlin -Labour Party -Limerick 2009 LE June 4, 2010

A simple card with useful numbers from former Rugby International Gerry ‘Ginger’ McLoughlin issued around the 2009 Local Elections.
Gerry, a prop, won 18 caps for Ireland. He was also a member of the famous Munster team that beat the All Blacks in 1978. He is probably most remembered for his try against England in Twickenham (seen here from 7.03 mins onwards) during Ireland’s Triple Crown campaign in 1982.

Gerry McLoughlin was originally elected as an Independent to Limerick City council in 2004 before joining Labour in 2006.
He was comfortably elected in the 2009 Local Elections and his daughter Orla McLoughlin was also elected to Limerick City Council in 2009.
