From the 1989 General election, Fine Gael candidate John Connor. He was elected here in 1989 and again in 1992 in the Longford-Roscommon constituency. He lost his seat in the 1997 elections and failed to regain it in 2002.

Irish Election Literature 
This isn’t political my grandfather came from Roscommon- his name was John Connor son of Michael Connor he married my grandmother in November 1904. I am 79 now but would love to know where my Irish family are. Sorry if this is a mistake writing to you but just felt the need,
