This is a great leaflet from prospective Fianna Fail candidate Jimmy Guerin for the 2009 Local elections in Howth / Malahide. Guerin mustn’t have got the nomination that he mentions at the beginning of the leaflet and ran as an Independent polling 1,814 votes. He also ran in the 2011 General election in Dublin North East.
He is the brother of the late Veronica Guerin.
Many thanks to the sender who notes …
“The anti-heroin message aimed at genteel Howth and Portmarnock still amuses me.”

From the 2011 General Election a flyer for Independent candidate Jimmy Guerin running in Dublin North East. In 2009 he stood in the Local Elections polling 1,814 votes and narrowly missed out on a seat in the Howth-Malahide ward.
He is the brother of the late Veronica Guerin.
